Summary

Swipelle is an app for making seamless Instagram carousels and collages. It is made by Burak Sinan Karabulut, an independent developer (“I”, “me”). Swipelle does not require an account, does not show ads and does not track you. Your photos stay on your device.

Your photos

  • You choose photos through your device’s photo library permission or photo picker. Swipelle uses this access only to show the photos you pick in the editor and to save your finished slides back to your library.
  • Editing and export happen entirely on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to me or to anyone else.
  • The projects you create are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.

Templates

Swipelle downloads design templates from cdn.swipelle.com, which is served by Cloudflare. As with any web request, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, the time of the request and your device’s user agent to deliver the files and protect the service. These requests never contain your photos. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Background removal on Android

On Android, Swipelle uses Google ML Kit subject segmentation to separate a subject from its background. It runs on your device and your photos are not sent to Google. Google Play services may contact Google to download or update the ML Kit model and may send Google diagnostic and usage information about the ML Kit APIs. See the ML Kit terms.

What Swipelle does not do

  • No account or sign-in.
  • No analytics or crash-reporting services.
  • No advertising and no tracking across apps or websites.
  • No selling or sharing of personal data.

Purchases

If you buy Swipelle Pro, the purchase is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their own privacy policies. I never receive your payment card details.

This website

swipelle.com does not use cookies or analytics. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical request data such as your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Launch list

Before Swipelle is released, you can join its launch list on swipelle.com. This is the only place where I collect personal data, and only if you sign up.

  • What I collect: your email address, the phone you chose (iPhone or Android) and the date you signed up.
  • Why: to send you a beta invite and one email when Swipelle launches, with its launch-week pricing. I do not use your address for anything else, and I never sell or share it for marketing.
  • Where it is stored: in a Cloudflare D1 database that only I can access.
  • Beta testing: if you chose Android, I add your email address to Swipelle’s tester list in Google Play Console so you can install the beta. If you chose iPhone, I invite your email address through Apple’s TestFlight. Google and Apple handle it under their own privacy policies.
  • How long: I delete the launch list within 30 days after Swipelle launches.
  • Leaving the list: email support@swipelle.com at any time and I will delete your address.

Children

Swipelle is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Your rights

The Swipelle app does not collect personal data about you. If you joined the launch list, you can ask me to access, correct or delete your email address. If you live in the EU/EEA, the UK, Türkiye (KVKK) or another place with data protection rights, you can email support@swipelle.com with any request or question, and you can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, for example because Swipelle adds a feature that handles data differently, I will update this page and its date before the change takes effect.
